These components include process design, process modeling, process monitoring, process collaboration or integration, process integrity and compliancy, and of course process automation.
Process DesignBroker Process allows the broker with no programming skills to design the workflow process. This design is achieved by using graphical UIs with drag and drop technology to make process design as intuitive and painless as possible. The Broker Process design module will support the process assets of information and participants, the creation of business rules, exception handling, step/activity notification, and error handling, etc. Process Monitoring, Statusing, and TrackingOne of the objectives of BPM is to realize process improvement. Broker Process offers different levels of viewing for the workflow administrator along with some degree of metrics performance and reporting. Keeping all process participants, especially the client, informed of the workflow process progress is another key component. All of these features will enable and promote process optimization.Process AutomationOne of the objectives of workflow is to automate steps/activities in order to save the broker time. It is important to be able to modify the process on the fly in case something goes wrong in which steps/activities have to beadded, deleted, modified and redirected. Broker Process allows this to occur while the process is running thereby eliminating the need to restart the process. Process Collaboration and IntegrationBroker Process connects the participants by using innovative Intranets that enable participants to communicate real time and non real time by means of Workgroups and Dialogs. Broker Process process-centric approach connects participants and must occur in order for the business processes to be successful. Too often technical applications drive how business processes are conducted. The key is to separate process logic from application logic, so that changes do not require reconfiguration of the process participant communication. Process Integrity and ComplianceBroker Process provides real time backups of all workflows for both contingency and compliance management.
